Tenant Survey: Communal activities tenants would be interested in

11th November 2019

The Prsim Tenant Survey reveals that there are a wide range of activities that tenants would be interested in. The survey found that 80% of tenants are interested in participating in communal events, even if not willing or able to budget for additional services. This adds weight to the view that tenants are increasingly looking for a more ‘social living’ model. Activities such as BBQs, fitness classes and social evenings have strongest appeal across all ages.

Katherine Rose, Prsim’s Director of PRS & Build to Rent Client Services commented that “whilst there are a wide range of events and activities that tenants would be interested in, the most popular are ones are informal events where tenants can chose to join in and don’t feel forced to have fun, but can chose to be social – such as BBQ’s. Prsim have found that over time the residents start to take the lead and organise their events or activities with other residents who they have got to know or those who wish to participate, such as running clubs.”
